It is a pleasure for GRS Team to welcome Jesse Carrasquedo Jr. into the team. The young Mexican talent will race with us in the upcoming EuroCup-3 round, which takes places this weekend at Zandvoort Circuit.
Carrasquedo, aged 16, is currently racing in Formula 4 Spanish Championship. His single seater racing experience is vast, including racing across different F4 championships: Spanish, Danish, UAE and NACAM. The rising talent from Guanajuato, supported by Formula 1 driver Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez, has numerous race wins and podium finish to his record. He is now looking for the next step on his rising career.
Jesse joins GRS Team to race in the upcoming EuroCup-3 round, held at Zandvoort Circuit, in The Netherlands. The Mexican driver already worked with GRS in the past. He did Formula 4 testing with us back in 2020. This will be his first experience in I higher class, so he comes into the team with the goals of learning and making progress on his promising career.
For the first time on the ongoing EuroCup-3 season, GRS will enter two drivers in this meeting. Carrasquedo will be partnered by another driver to be announced soon in a meeting where we expect to maintain our good performance in the new series, where we already finished on the podium.
“It is our pleasure to have Jesse racing with us this weekend in Zandvoort. We than the trust put in GRS Team. We are aware of his potential and speed, and we are ready to work at our best to help him in his adaptation process on the new series. Having two drivers in EuroCup-3 was an important step to make, and we made it, so we face the weekend fully determined to give it all”.
