GRS Team to race in Formula Winter Series season finale with Amna Al Qubaisi

GRS Team will race in Formula Winter Series’ final round, held this weekend at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit. The championship faces the final meeting of its maiden season, where GRS Team will take part with Emirati driver Amna Al Qubaisi.

Al Qubaisi, aged 22, comes into GRS with great experience in single seater racing. The youngster from Abu Dhabi has taken part in two full Italian Formula 4 seasons and two Formula Regional Asian Championship campaigns. She has also experience in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

Formula Winter Series was created in 2023 as the first winter Formula 4 championship held in Europe. Throughout the last months, the series has visited different Spanish tracks with a high-level grid of teams and drivers. For GRS team, being at the final round is an opportunity to prepare the upcoming Formula 4 Spanish Championship season and to earn mileage at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit, where the final round of the Spanish championship will take place in November.

“We are delighted to race in Formula Winter Series this weekend. The championship is an excellent platform for the development of teams and drivers throughout. We look forwards to learning from this event and to be competitive. We thank Amna for her trust in our team and we expect that it will be a positive venture for both parties involved”.
