GRS Team to race in Formula 4 UAE in 2022

It is an honour for GRS to announce the team’s participation in the 2022 season of Formula 4 UAE. The team will take part at the Emirati championship to earn a first competitive experience with the Tatuus F4 T-021, the second-generation Formula 4 car that will be used by Formula 4 Spanish Championship from 2022 onwards.

Held in January and February, Formula 4 UAE in one of the most prestigious and important winter series. Since its inception in 2016, teams and drivers from around the world have raced in the UAE to prepare their racing programs.

In 2022, the championship will draw more attention as the main Formula 4 championship are to switch their used car. The F4 T-021, developed by Tatuus, will be firstly introduced in Formula 4 UAE, so this first contact will be crucial for teams’ staff and drivers to start understanding and working on the new car.

GRS is currently having one of their best campaigns in F4 Spanish Championship. The team will therefore offer the opportunity for drivers to have that first experience with the car. Besides the five official rounds of the championship, GRS will take part on the non-scoring Trophy Round, which will be held on December 10-12 this year at Yas Marina Circuit. The event will be part of Formula 1’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
