Emely De Heus to make EuroCup-3 debut with GRS Team at the Red Bull Ring

The Dutch driver, currently racing in F1 Academy, will take part on the second round of the EuroCup-3 season, which is set to take place this weekend at the Red Bull Ring.

The EuroCup-3 season resumes this weekend at the Red Bull Ring, in Austria. After a difficult meeting in Spa due to the adverse weather, the team has a new signing on its drivers’ line-up for the upcoming round. Emely De Heus will race this weekend with GRS Team.

De Heus, aged 21, has significant experience over different single seaters series. Her debut took place in 2021, in Formula 4 Spanish Championship. There, the young Dutch driver won the Female Trophy. After that, she has raced in both W Series and F1 Academy. She claimed a race win and two podiums on the latter during the 2023 season.

In 2024, De Heus is taking part on her second F1 Academy season. Her participation on the ongoing season is supported by Red Bull and by Ford. Her EuroCup-3 debut is set to be an addition to her main racing programme. The team has already worked with De Heus in the past, on test days; and we are confident that we will be able to have a strong race weekend together with her.

“I am really happy to join GRS Team for the Eurocup-3 at the Red Bull Ring. I am very happy and thankful to have this chance to learn and gain more experience”.

“We are delighted to welcome Emely for her EuroCup-3 debut this weekend. We have worked with her in other occasions, and we trust her potential to perform well and be competitive on track. The team will work hard so she can show all her pace”.

Round 2 of EuroCup-3 will take place at the Red Bull Ring in May 18-19. The team will have De Heus and Isaac Barashi on its drivers’ line-up.
