Dani Maciá to race in Formula 4 Spanish Championship season opener with GRS Team

We are delighted to announce that Dani Maciá joins GRS Team. The Valencian driver will take part at Formula 4 Spanish Championship season opener, which takes places this weekend at the legendary Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium.

Maciá, aged 21, comes into the team with wide experience and multiple success on his career in both karting and single seater racing. Among his achievements, he is a multiple Spanish Karting vice-champion, he was the winner of the LeCont Trophy in 2022 and was took the Rotax Max Spain title in 2018. In single seaters, Maciá raced in Formula 4 Spanish Championship in 2021, where he had a great performance, stepping on the podium on six occasions, claiming one pole position and finishing the championship fifth on the standings.

The young talent from Santa Pola (Alicante, Spain) has been part of the team since the beginning of the year. Maciá has already taken part in numerous testing sessions with GRS Team. He did a great job on these tests, with positive results and an outstanding help to the team ahead of the season’s preparations.

Formula 4 Spanish Championship season kicks off this weekend in Spa- Francorchamps Circuit. Carl Bennett will race alongside Maciá in the team throughout a weekend that also marks the beginning of all-new series EuroCup-3.
